like Stampede in that there's only 5 tracks but you do them a lot. only 5 tracks but you do them all the damn time in career.

not sure how this is different from Landrush. like Rallycross from before, but wider tracks like Landrush. very much a personal preference as to whether you like it or not. So if you liked Dirt 2 and 3, this is similar, but the point-to-point Rally and Trailblazer events are gone, which is very disappointing, as my main problem with the gameplay is that it's repetitive. I rarely felt like I was doing the same tracks over and over again. there's a massive variety of weather conditions and times of day (you can drive most tracks in any season, which is nice). There's a ton of cars and car classes, and there's lots of very good tracks in very nice locations all around the world, which is great.

it's a solid arcade off-road racer and is one of the best-looking games you can buy. I got the demo of the base game on PS4, and it was pretty fun, but I've not gone back since I finished it. There is more stuff coming, but I have not seen any information as to when, as the DLC releases have been very sporadic (presumably because of the pandemic?) there are new events in a new section of the career mode, but they're on tracks that were already in the base game. the paid DLC is limited to like 10 new cars (there's also been some free stuff).
